While vacationing in Nassau, Bahamas in June-July, had the best dessert in the world. It's called guava duff and also guava cake. Check out the recipes online. It is so good. The "secret" is in the sauce. But the cake is good even without the sauce, tastes much like carrot cake or strawberry cake. The duff is kinda like a bread pudding and is not that great on its own (without the sauce).

I think these desserts are served at most restaurants in Nassau (either the cake or the duff). My favorite "to die for" dessert was the guava cake/sauce at Traveller's Rest restaurant/bar. And the guava duff at Twin Brothers restaurant (in the Fish Fry restaurants area).

These desserts should be fairly easy to make yourself. Try it, I plan to. Yum! More on my Nassau trip later.

Our table was just behind the man with the bottled drink in the video, on the porch, just outside the main entry, where the yellow wall is. We had a table to the right of the entry door, right in front of the big white-framed window. And people-watching was an easy past-time while we ate. Twin Brothers was a fun, lively place.
